That means I was in my junior year... with Silburger, Jacobson, Wood, Speakup... soo many memories from this year. I had this list in my journal hahaha it SO applied. (And still does, really.) Any apply to you?
The comments I made were from back then sooo they sound kind of ... well junior-year-ish.
50 Signs You've Been In The Band Too Long:
1. When you hear music and start marking time. *at my hockey team's workout we did a step workout and one of the moves was jsut marching in place and she had her right food down on the down beats and i wanted to cry hahaha it was seriously hard to get used to...*
2. When you walk behind someone and you're in step with them. *doesn't that just end up happening to everyone tho?*
4. When all your friends are in band. *haha some of the best are in the band*
5. When you don't mind changing on the bus. *all the timeee, get that band uniform off!*

+ aced the music history test today
+ honors classes today were outstanding
- ended up writing about saturday night in my think and write
- couldn't talk to rob about it. way too scared.
o i wonder if he'll still come home with me this weekend? i haveeee to talk to him about it tomorrow.
+ auditioned for the lab jazz ensemble
+ got into the lab jazz ensemble
+ had first rehearsal for lab jazz ensemble, it was FUCKING amazing. everything i ever dreamed a college jazz band to be and more :D
+ met another FEMALE trombonist with who i am sharing first/second stand music.
- no openings @ the field house for work study. neeeed to look elsewhere.
- need to remember to register the jazz ensemble as a class.
+ got to know cathy a lot better tonight. she's pretty cool.
+ wink.
- it's 2am and i have to get up at 6 for my communications class tomorrow. fuck.
- i'm really really tired.

i've been doing studying a combination of music theory CATCH-UP and music history for the past 3 hours, in addition to 3 hours spent earlier playing catchup with notes. see i didn't realize how detailed i had to do the reading, so i had to read last weeks assignment as well as this weeks. awesome.
soo we're studying early music theory, andddd i have had THE MOST MINIMAL exposure to music theory. so i had my good friend josh, who was, by the way, half drunk throughout this evening, teach me the basics of music theory. justtt to be close to the same level of understanding as the rest of the students in this class seem to be at.
i wonder if i could fit a music theory class into my schedule. i wonder if i'll have time for the work. i'd really love to be able to. we'll see how the rest of this course goes. i've got a quiz tomorrow, for which i am now SO TOTALLY prepared for bwahahah.
life is still great here at school... i need some sleep.
first graded college exam tomorrow at 930. OHBOY. |

D o o l s 2 8 6 (1:23:05 PM): dear katiann(e)? herman martell....while i have never actually hung out with you except for softball haha i am going to miss hanging out with you when you leave me go to maine hahah i am going to come and visit every single day and if you're nice i will even pretend to be you and take classes for you ;-) also although you are becoming a "cool kid" "big bad college kid" i expect many drunken ims, phone calls, ect. i also expect that you hang a large picture/poster of me in your dorm room so u can see me every single day hahaha ps-im really glad we became friends cuz i met even cooler friends ie:the dancing/retarded seal and mr. bannana. also i expect there to be online homework help sessions for dools since yanno ur in college now and it would only be right to share the gift of knowledge with your younger but extremely significant friend kristen l. dooley. gifts such as hoodies, sweatpants southern maine gear is greatly appreciated hahah kidding :-D but if you're lucky ill let u have my waltham high school agenda book to help manage your time and assignments at college ;-) haha there are a few expectations i am expecting you to uphold throughout your freshman year of college: 1. drink......A LOT 2.be out of control and wild......ALOT 3. do nasty during sb season and tell me when ur playing julie at bridgewater because me and ross will comee and hmmmmm oh yeah 4. say hi to dools at least once a day so she doesnt feel sad :-( haha also im very sad that you are leaving because i cant say that my bodyguard to fight the dirty sanchez family is only 35? mins away...she is now 2 hours away which is relaly not protecting me..i hope you can live with yourself jerk haha jk no but on a serious noteeee i hope you have alottttt of funnnnn this yearr and i wish i was going tooooo :'( but im not so ill just have to hold it down in the ham for u haha and as soon as i get my liscense :-D December 28, 2005 i will visit and get really drunk with you :-D haha so im going to miss you alot alot alot alot and i hope you have fun alot alot alot and u and ur sister better play for us this summer so we can all hang out alot alot alot hahaha ps-im a wonderful letter writerrr
